Jonay García’s short film Cris will be screened as part of the Diversity, Activism, and Equality: Trans Realities in the Face of Fear, Hate, Discrimination, and Global Violence event held as part of the 5th Tenerife Trans Film Festival - #Cinematrans. The screening will take place on May 15th in the Aula de Audiovisuales de Psicología y Logopedia (Guajara Campus) at 1pm, followed by a discussion with the director, moderated by Sagri Hernández.

The new Cantabria en Corto 2026 regional catalogue was launched yesterday, which we are honored to distribute once again this year. This edition features six short films—selected from among the twenty-one submitted—directed by five first-time directors participating in this initiative and the seasoned veteran Nacho Solana. The selected short films are: Kill me, cuckold! by Víctor Díaz; You must see it by Nacho Solana; Bucolic Choir by Ángel Noguera; The mechanics of films by Ismael Sordo; The Goodby by Lucía Sánchez; and Cazuritos by Pablo Lasén.
