We're back with two new incorporations with a proper name: Looking for Travolta by Alberto García Ortiz - winner of the Digital 104 Film Distribution award at Gáldar Rueda 2025 - and Free Frida by Domingo J. Gonzalez and Elena de Vera. Of very different nature, both use each famous figure to explore our behavior as fans and admirers towards them. Soon both will have a proper introduction.

Next January 22nd the exhibition "Antonio and I" will open its doors. It combines the pictorial art of Cayetana H. Cuyás and her uncle, Antonio Cuyás, which have been in constant conversation throughout the artist's career. The result of this symbiosis, which is born from the concept of family as an engine of creation, has recently been explored in her first documentary feature The prado and the moon (#Digital104FilmDistribution). As part of the event, the film will screen on February 12th at 7pm at Aula de Cine ULPGC.

The short film Supersonic by Jordi Castejón is among the 44 titles selected for the Premi de Curtmetratges de Ficció en Català organized as part of the Premis CastellitX by the Algaida city council (Mallorca). The screenings and award ceremony will be held on February and March.

On today's #TrailerFriday, meet The root, a short documentary directed by Isa Sáez Pérez, featured in the #NavarraShortZinema2025 regional catalogue. Through the experimental and archive images, the director holds a conversation with her grandma and reflects on the collective memory, one lost and never accessed before, and the impossibility of recognizing oneself in recent history.
