In celebration of the World Social Work Day, the University of Castilla-La Mancha will host a film forum on March 17th featuring, among others, the short film Cris by Jonay García. Following the screening, there will be a discussion and debate moderated by Professor Patricia Fernández de Castro alongside Ariel González Cano.

The short film Looking for Travolta by Alberto García Ortiz has been selected as one of the 50 titles shortlisted for the second edition of the #VAFF - Valdeolmos - Alalpardo Film Festival Enrique Cerezo, which will take place on March 20th and 21st. The nominees will be announced next Monday, March 16th.

Today we welcome to our catalogue the short film Woman with flowers, directed by our colleague Jonay García and starring Pino Montesdeoca, accompanied by actors from our islands such as Dani Bajo, Laura Jiménez de la Espada, José Manuel Segado, and Marta Ángel.
"Marta spends her days at the hospital bedside where her husband survives hooked up to a machine. One night, on her way home, at the door of the mysterious place she always passes by, she encounters a boy much younger than her. The connection between them is almost magical. Little by little, the memory of that moment will take Marta on a journey of no return towards her own desire."

We welcome the weekend by announcing that the short film The Boy with Red Ears by María Lucía Suárez Barbery is among the titles selected for Málaga Short Corner, a space at MAFIZ, the industry meeting held as part of the Málaga Film Festival, for the promotion and international distribution of the latest Spanish short films. The screening is scheduled for March 11 at the Sala Cajamar.
