The short film Cala, cala son by Lucía Venero travels to China this week after being selected at China International New Media Short Film Festival (#CSFF), a short film festival held in the coty of Guangdong. We wish them the best of lucks in the award ceremony that will take place this Sunday, February 23rd.

We're very happy to announce that the feature film Gülizar, directed by Belkıs Bayrak, has been selected to compete at Cleveland International Film Festival, one of the longest-running film festivals in the US, which also qualifies for the Academy Awards. This selection marks the premiere of the film in the US, which will take place on April 4th.

The Festival de Cine de Oviedo has selected the feature-length drama I'm gonna disappear by Coré Ruiz, which will screen on March 12th at 7pm. This is the second stop the film does on national territory after its selection in Girona.

The short documentary Inania, directed by Julia Girós and Vera Herrero Mercader, has been selected to compete in the Panorama Castilla y León section at Muestra de Cine Internacional de Palencia. The festival will take place from January 21st to February 1st and the short film will screen on January 5th @5pm at Cine Ortega.

The Ladies in Control Film Festival, which celebrates stories directed by women, has selected four titles from our catalogue: Inania by Julia Girós and Vera Mercader, Pan de rana by Malena Montiel, Self-portrait by Daniela Goto Uehara and Admission fee by Sadaya de la Ossa and Gemma Vera Alameda. For the later, this selection represents its premier on festivals.

Five short films that we distribute are part of the official selection of the Medina del Campo Film Week, one of the oldest short film festivals in our country.

On the one hand, Selfportrait  by Daniela Goto debuts in style competing in the National Competition of the medina festival.

On the other hand, AB Penthouse by Elena González-Vallinas, Cycles by David Orea Arribas and A perfect day by Mariela Ariles from the #CortosQuercus2024 catalog and Inania, by Júlia Girós and Vera Herrero Mercader will compete in the official section 'Certamen de Castilla y León'.

The festival is celebrated from March 7 to 15 in Medina del Campo (Valladolid).
