Good news from Istanbul! The story of friendship and revenge encapsuled in Zemberek by director Recep Çavdar has been selected as finalist in the TAYF Film Festivali. The short film will be competing in the Kurmaca section of the festival, dedicated to works of fiction. From April, 29th to May, 4th in the Turkish capital city.

We're very happy to welcome three new titles to our distribution catalogue! These three stories, winners of the contest #LaRiojadeCine, talk about loss and the inescapable mutability of life.
In Pan de rana by Malena Montiel Rodríguez, Amaia returns to her hometown after months studying in Barcelona just to discover how her relationship with Carmen, her best friend, has changed. Friendship and memory are also central in the story of The Noise by Carlos Lain: Martina met up with Adri one summer morning. They chat, laugh and remember jokes from the past. But suddenly something breaks, and those memories of the past are no longer what they seemed. Lastly, but not less important, in Any day now, you will poison her, director Laura Ortega explores the relation between old age and solitude through the life of Pablo and his family, who comes visit him to celebrate his grandchild's birthday.

The short film Out of the blue directed by Victoria Ladrón de Guevara and Alba Gómez Arozamena has received a new selection and will be part of the 4º Mosta de Curts en Femení organized by Cinemoteka and Can Basté. The main goal of the event is to celebrate and support cinema made by women. The screening will take place new April, 5th in Barcelona.

Fesimatge - Festival de la Imatge de Calella is an event dedicated to the creation of images that includes activities centered on photography, short films and 9.5 films. In this year's edition four of our short films have been selected to be part of the event's official screenings: Tomorrow by Daniel González Catalina, The balloon by Hugo Suárez, The twilight of a perturbed consciousness by Manuela Gutiérrez Arrieta and The Barn by Elisa Puerto Aubel. The event starts on April, 13th and will continue until mid-May.

Their love for this train moved them to lead a fierce defense of it and claim better conditions so this long-running service does not fall into oblivion.

The Barn by Elisa Puerto Aubel keeps growing strong. The short film has been selected in the Getafe en corto, a short film festival held in Madrid during the month of April. More specifically, the screening will take place on April, 12th at 6.30pm in the Auditorio del Centro Cívico La Alhóndiga and a brief introduction will be held before the start of the movie.

At the back of the courtyard, behind that door, it is said that a saint was born." The documentary film A house in the countryside, directed by our colleague Domingo J González and produced by Digital 104, departs from this premise. It conveys an intimate depiction of life around the house where different generations of the director' family spent their summer vacations. A personal memory that turns into a reflection of the idiosyncracy of life in the small towns of our territory.
