The public screenings of #CanariasEnCorto are finally here! The screening sessions of the featuring short films will take place next week at Espacio la Granja (Tenerife) and Teatro Guiniguada (Gran Canaria) on October 15th and 17th respectively. The short films include are:

Both sessions will start at 6.30pm and will be followed by a Q&A with some of the directors and filmmakers.

We give a warm welcome to the festival circuit to Inania, out last incorporation to the catalogue. The short film directed by Júlia Girós y Vera Herrero Mercader that follows the work of the music duo Gregotechno and the recording of their last album. The title will premiere as part of the Official National Short Film Section in the IN-EDIT Barcelona, a Goya-qualifying film festival focused exclusively on music documentaries.

Good news for Eye of water directed by Héctor García. The short film has been selected at #TISFF - Tehran International Short Film Festival. The film festival, qualifying for the Oscars and Goya awards, will take place on October 19th - 24th in Tehran, Iran.

The short films Cala, cala son by Lucía Venero and Patata by Emilio González will be part of the Anual Section 2025 at Cortopilar - Festival Internacional de Cine de Pilar de la Horadada. The short film will be screened on multiple sessions throughout 2025.

La Pinochera film festival, focused on rural cinema from the Canary Islands, has selected the short film The song of the years to come by Alexander Cabeza Trigg, to participate as part of its official section. The film festival will take place on October 15th - 17th in Tenerife.
