The comedy short film Good t'see ya by Nüll García and the drama Zemberek by Turkish director Recep Çavdar will be part of the short film official selection at Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes y Cine Alternativo de Benalmádena. The film festival will take place on October 19th - 26th.

Three of our short films will be present at Monstrale - International Short Film Festival Halle, held in Germany on October 14th - 20th. The titles selected are Shirampari, legacies of the river by Lucía Flórez, which will be competing in the docfilm section, and For us! by Carlos Zalama and Melody's murmur by Fabio Barber, both included in the Focus Spain section, which promotes films from our country.

Good news to start the day! The short film Everything I keep from my mom by Estefanía Ortiz has received its first selection at Punto y final - Certamen artístico sobre la muerte held in Quinto, Zaragoza. The title follows the story of Gonzalo, now 18, who chooses not to take his deceased father’s car, even though it was expected that he would. This unexpected choice perplexes everyone, especially his mother.

The Cuenca del Salado Short Film International Festival has selected the short films Fairgame: 90 minutes with El Rifle by Juan y Caque Trueba y Good t'see ya directed by Nüll García as part of their international section. The screening sessions will take place next week, from October 6th- 13th, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
