Three of the short films featured in our catalogue have been selected for this year's edition of the Festival de Cine Fantástico de Canarias - Isla Calavera. The films, included in the non competitive section 'Made in the Canary Islands' are: Los muchachos by Alejandro Artiles, The way of the garrote by Adrián Rivero Pérez and Tánatos by Joel de León. The later will also compete in the official short film section.

The Gáldar International Film Festival held its closing ceremony this past weekend, in which two short films from our catalogue were awarded: Tell me, mari by Marcos Crisostomo won Best Canarian Short Film and Maykol Hernández won Best Actor in the short film category for his work in Los muchachos by Alejandro Artiles. Furthermore, like every year, Digital 104 Film Distribution handed the distribution award, in this case to the short film Buscando a Travolta by director Alberto García.

The short film Ziarraize, written and directed by the inhabitants of Aurizberri-Espinal, has been selected in the Official National Section L'Alternativa - Festival de Cine Independent de Barcelona, which qualifies for the Spanish Goya awards. The festival will take place on November 13th - 23rd in Barcelona.
