Cuyás crosses the Atlantic and gets its first international selection in the Festival de Cine Global de Santo Domingo, a festival accredited by the FIAPF as competitive and specialized in the debut films. From January 28th to February 4th in Santo Domingo.

The documentary short films The root by Isa Sáez Pérez (#NavarraShortZinema2025) and Only the lonely by Alicia van Assche (#CortosQuercus2024) have been selected in the Petronila - Festival de Cine de Burgos, which opens for the first time this year, from February 16th to the 27th. Both will compete in the Castilla y León category.

The film A house in the countryside premieres tonight at 10.40pm in Televisión Canaria. Produced by Digital 104, the film depicts the recent history of our islands through life inside a house, which becomes the protagonist of the story. After screening in festivals such as Miradas Doc, Las Palmas International Festival and FICINDIE, the film arrives to our homes tonight.

Javier Chacártegui wins the Ciutat de Palma María Forteza Award of audiovisual arts in the short film category for A normal person. The film has been recognized by the quality of the performances by Guillermo Horrach and Joan Horrach, and its capacity to move the audience, among other things.

We're back with two new incorporations with a proper name: Looking for Travolta by Alberto García Ortiz - winner of the Digital 104 Film Distribution award at Gáldar Rueda 2025 - and Free Frida by Domingo J. Gonzalez and Elena de Vera. Of very different nature, both use each famous figure to explore our behavior as fans and admirers towards them. Soon both will have a proper introduction.
