The Gáldar International Film Festival held its closing ceremony this past weekend, in which two short films from our catalogue were awarded: Tell me, mari by Marcos Crisostomo won Best Canarian Short Film and Maykol Hernández won Best Actor in the short film category for his work in Los muchachos by Alejandro Artiles. Furthermore, like every year, Digital 104 Film Distribution handed the distribution award, in this case to the short film Buscando a Travolta by director Alberto García.

The documentary Only the lonely by Alicia van Assche has been selected to participate in the official section in Mujeres en escena, a festival which celebrates women's work in the film industry. From October 27th to Novemeber 9th in Málaga.

The short film Ziarraize, written and directed by the inhabitants of Aurizberri-Espinal, has been selected in the Official National Section L'Alternativa - Festival de Cine Independent de Barcelona, which qualifies for the Spanish Goya awards. The festival will take place on November 13th - 23rd in Barcelona.

The short films Cris by Jonay García and Turns by Willy Suárez have been selected as part of the official section in OFN (One Fluid Night) LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, which will be held at Christine Cinema Club in París on November 1st.
