CALIMA ROSA

Synopsis

CALIMA ROSA is a documentary that tells several stories about people who are dissident by their sexual orientation or gender identity across seven of the Canary Islands. The loss and the ability to overcome themselves or self-discovery are some of the universal themes that will be embodied in some of the protagonists whose voices have been systematically silenced. In this film, memory also becomes collective and is woven through one's own and other people's memories, inhabited places, worn-out photographs and unfulfilled dreams.
