Two shepherds who, due to financial circumstances, decide to sell what's left of their dwindling herd. In order to do so, they make a deal with a wholesaler who is waiting for them in a village just a couple of days' drive away. On the way there, however, the death of one of their flock at the hands of a wolf causes them both to reconsider the path they’ve chosen.
