Felix, a retired artist, spends his retirement in a village in the mountains of La Rioja (Spain). He is trying to finish his last work: a sculpture born from the dead trunk of an almond tree. The hours pass between his loneliness and his artistic frustrations until, out of nowhere, a little girl appears.
