THE PRADO & THE MOON is a tribute to my uncle Antonio Gómez who became chief designer at Valentino fleeing from a father who did not accept his homosexuality. He never got the credit he deserved. He died of AIDS in 1991, when he was beginning to emerge on his own.

Rummaging through his things I found an unfinished film script that I feel was about himself. This documentary is a catharsis in the search for who my uncle was. I filmed with my family as leading actors, the film that he could not finish while he was alive.
